The perfect Estonian autumn at the Odi Resort
Odi Resort is probably the newest Estonian cottage we have visited so far. It is a beautiful luxury holiday home on a seaside landscape that is only 40km away from Tallinn and accommodates up to six people. This makes Odi Resort the perfect Estonian cottage to visit with friends or family.
Hidden between the scenic pinetrees and junipers Odi Resort greeted us with cozy warm rooms and a nice welcoming wine - perfect combination to curl up next to the chiney and enjoy the beautiful view from the big windows.
On the first floor of Odi Resort you will find a spacious living room with a panorama view to the forest as well as the dining table and open kitchen. In the interior your will find that Odi Resort has used local design as much as possible while also valuing sustainability. The door next to the dining table takes you to the big spacious terrace, so during warmer times it is super comfortable to move between the BBQ and the kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need - a fridge, an oven and a stove, water boiler and also a dish washer.
The cupboards have dishes and cutlery as well as some basic ingredients and coffee and tea.
One bedroom is located on the first floor and that's also where we stayed. All the Odi Resort bedrooms have soft and comfy Sleepwell beds and luxurious bedsheets. And the windows have proper blinding curtains so you are all set for perfect sleep.
We also noticed immediately that all the bedrooms have proper storage space - a cupboard and shelves- something we often miss during our travels. Same goes for electric sockets as we have more than average amount of tech, we often don't have enough sockets to charge our equipment. This was however a non-issue in Odi Resort.
Another door from the coridor leads to the spa area, where you can enter either a toilet or a sauna with the shower cabin. There is also a door leading to the terrace, perfect for going to the tub after sauna. 
The sauna is equipped with the awarded Huum electric heater and a sound system that lets you play your own music via Bluetooth. Odi Resort will soon add a steam sauna as well so it truly is a private mini spa. And the sauna heats up within an hour! On the terrace right by the sauna there are two lounge chairs - the perfect spot for watching sunsets!
Heating the Odi Resort hot tub is the easiest heating experience we have ever had. Usually we are prepared that getting the fire going and heating takes roughly 3 to 6 hours, but in this case the tub was ready in one hour. And there are bubbles!
On the second floor of Odi Resort there are two more bedrooms and one more bathroom. In the drawer of the bathroom I also found a hair dryer. All the bedrooms also have some books to read - the perfect thing to do in this house!
The second floor also has a cool view to the living room and outside.
We got to enjoy such a lovely September sun during our weekend there that we spent as much time as possible outside.
One morning I was just in front of the house, taking photos of the rising sun when a wild buck startled me by emerging the forest right behind me. I was lucky enought to get some photos and videos of him munching on leaves before he noticed me and ran off.
After the sauna we lit up the fire in the cool design outdoor furnace in front of the house and enjoyed the rest of the evening in a blanket. We had also turned on the nice terrace lights that created such a cozy and romantic atmosphere around the house.
Odi Resort is surely one of our recent favourites by being such professional hosts that pay attention to details and quality. In our eyes it is truly the perfect place to have some quality time with family and friends and celebrate holidays at. And the sea is also only 20 minutes away!
